I grew up in Seattle, WA. I left to study music at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and The Juilliard School in New York. Now I live and work in Portland, OR, where I play with the Oregon Symphony.
This blog is seven years old, has almost 1,000 entries, and serves as a personal journal in addition to a place to collect my thoughts on music, art, politics, etc. I try to read the blogs of anyone who comments in this journal. I rarely lock or censor entries, except where personal privacy is concerned. I add and remove friends arbitrarily.
This blog was called ekbsn from May 2001-May 2005. Soon it will merge with ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) musicianonmusic, currently my "music blog," and probably be renamed again. |
